UCLA’s Summer Institutes allow students to earn college credit in one to four weeks while advancing their academic career and abilities in an area of study.

This summer, UCLA Arts offers seven Precollege Summer Institutes for motivated and driven highschool students and one College/Professional Summer Institute for current university students and professionals.

2025 Precollege Summer Institutes

  • Hone your artistic skills in areas such as painting, drawing, photography, video art, sculpture, or artistic voice. Sessions include studio work, lectures, presentations, and a final art exhibition.
